I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here star Angry Ginge was seen looking ‘really happy’ as he arrived home in Manchester following his milestone win. The 24-year-old TikTok star was greeted by cheering crowds as he walked through Manchester Airport.

Born and raised in Salford, the Twitch streamer made history during his time in the jungle, after his win declared him the first ever social media star to be crowned King of the Jungle. He spent three weeks Down Under in the ITV jungle, joined by former EastEnders actress Shona McGarty and Celebs Go Dating star Tom Read Wilson.

Onlookers said Ginge – who took more than half of the vote when he was crowned winner of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2025 – was seen taking pictures with fans as crowds gathered in the airport.

The new king of the jungle, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, was pictured wearing his Manchester United shirt in Manchester Airport on Wednesday (December 10). He was also sporting his jungle crown – despite previous winners saying they were forced to give theirs back.

In an Instagram post after arriving, Ginge said: “That reception in the airport, thank u everyone,” before adding a string of red heart emojis.”

Ginge received 53 per cent of the vote in the final three, before achieving 65 per cent in the final two with runner-up Tom, getting 35 per cent. Tom scored a quarter of the vote in the final three, with actress Shona McGarty, who placed third, getting 22 per cent.

After winning, Ginge told presenters Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly: “I feel amazing. Honestly, (it is a) dream come true. I did not think I’d go all this way, never mind win, so thank you to everyone who voted.”

Ginge previously shared his plans for when he gets back home. He said: “Probably gonna have a curry with my nana, see some friends, adjust back to normality and then straight on Twitch and live streaming.”

When asked how being in the jungle changed him, the star responded: “I think it has matured me into more of a family man, for example. I take it for granted when we go for meals with family, I’d always be on my phone and stuff like that.

“I’ve just spent three weeks without it, so I’ll make sure whenever I go for a meal I’m hardly on my phone. I’ll make more effort to go and see the family, friends and I’m actually gonna cut down on fizzy drinks.”
