Manchester United look like a better team with Senne Lammens in goal, and we can reveal the exact difference he has provided.
Senne Lammens signed for Manchester United on deadline day, and after a short wait, Ruben Amorim handed him his debut in October.
With Altay Bayindir retaining the goalkeeper spot for the month of September, Manchester United got a closer look at the Turkey international.
Watching Bayindir against Manchester City, Chelsea and Brentford, following the games against Arsenal, Fulham and Burnley in August, it became even clearer that United needed a new face in goal.
Lammens kept a clean sheet on his Manchester United debut, and while he has not achieved a shutout since, he has been a big improvement.

Senne Lammens has only lost one out of nine matches he has played for Manchester United since he joined the club.
This season Altay Bayindir played in six games and Manchester United lost three of them.
So what differences has Lammens made to the team?
The most critical area of Lammens’ game is his shot-stopping ability, with an improved save percentage against Bayindir’s.

Lammens has conceded 1.22 goals per 90 minutes, while Bayindir’s record this season is 1.83 goals conceded per 90.

There are high hopes for Senne Lammens at Manchester United, and MUTV pundit Wes Brown last week praised his composure, and ability to do the simple things.
Brown told the channel: “He’s saved some good shots already, but for me, the most important thing has been he’s so calm, so calm.
“He knows when to clear it, knows when to pass it, and it’s not something we’ve been talking about after the game.
“He is so simple. And that’s how people can be in that goal for many, many years to come and keep going on.”

Lammens is at the very start of his Manchester United journey, and the early signs are promising.
Without looking too far ahead, and just looking at this season alone, he has made a sizeable improvement over Altay Bayindir, and that is what was needed.
