Audiology drop-in clinics at the Isle of Man’s main hospital have been suspended due to concerns over the number of patients attending at the same time, the health care provider has said.
Manx Care said the sessions at Noble’s Hospital, in Braddan, had became too overcrowded and would no longer be accessible without an appointment.
The drop-in clinics had previously been held each Monday and Friday at the site of the island’s main Audiology Clinic.
Manx Care said pre-booked appointments would ensure the delivery of “safe and effective care”.
