Celebrity Gogglebox shared an impressive lineup for the Stand Up To Cancer special and fans were gobsmacked by one Hollywood star’s inclusion

Fans of Gogglebox settled down for a Stand Up To Cancer special and were gobsmacked by the lineup. The likes of Celebrity Traitors star Joe Marler made a one-off appearance for the charity edition of the reality show.
David Tennant was also on his settee to watch television, as was Josh Hartnett and his wife, Tamsin Egerton. A number of the show’s regulars also made an appearance.
However, it was one huge Hollywood star that left fans stunned. Oscar winner Kieran Culkin reviewed the programmes alongside his wife Jazz Charton. And viewers quickly took to Twitter /X to share their surprise.

“Kieran Culkin you mean the world to me i am sobbing like a baby rn i cant handle this show #gogglebox,” gushed one user. A second said: “Kieran Culkin and David Tennant. Ohhh, I’m buzzing.”
“Kieran Culkin, love of my life,” penned another, before fourth user simply wrote: “Kieran Culkin,” and added a shocked face emoji.
However, while one fan labelled him a “D-list American,” others were quick to hit back and reveal his huge status. “Are you serious?” they wrote. “Kieran Culkin is an Oscar winner and was in one of the biggest shows in the world (Succession). Josh Hartnett is a really well-known actor too (Pearl Harbour, The Faculty, Trap). They are both more famous than the two guys from The Traitors and David Tennant.
Another couldn’t hide their delight at one moment from Kieran. “Kieran Culkin calling Bill Bailey ‘Bailey Joel’ #CelebrityGogglebox #Gogglebox,” they said alongside a crying face emoji.

It came as the comedian appeared on Stephen Mulhern’s version of Catchphrase. Among the other shows watched by the cast was James May’s Shed Load of Ideas.
The Gogglebox special comes after King Charles III introduced the night’s proceedings with his own update on his cancer diagnosis. In his pre-recorded message, which he created just over a week ago in the morning room at Clarence House, he told viewers: “Today I am able to share with you the good news that thanks to early diagnosis, effective intervention and adherence to ‘doctors’ orders’, my own schedule of cancer treatment can be reduced in the New Year.
“This milestone is both a personal blessing and a testimony to the remarkable advances that have been made in cancer care in recent years; testimony that I hope may give encouragement to the fifty per cent of us who will be diagnosed with the illness at some point in our lives.”
He went on to speak of his own experience of feeling overwhelmed when receiving a cancer diagnosis. However, Charles, who was wearing a Stand Up To Cancer lapel pin, used his address to stress the importance of early detection, saying it’s ‘troubling’ that people aren’t taking up cancer screening available to them.
