Look-up the word “audacious” and what do you find? It means
extremely bold, daring and fearless, a willingness to take surprisingly bold
risks.
If you then search for Ellie Kildunne’s try against Leicester Tigers
last weekend you will have all the explanation you need. Harlequins were deep
into their own half, when centre Sarah Parry booted the ball past the halfway
line which Kildunne chased down, got a toe to it and swan dived the ball down
in to take the win and finish the match in style.

This was Harlequin’s first win in the PWR since their opening game against Loughborough Lightning. Quins have struggled against the top three clubs losing in consecutive weeks to Saracens, Gloucester-Hartpury and Exeter Chiefs.
But a win this week could see them knocking on the door of the top three. Ireland back row Aoife Wafer is set to make her debut for Harlequins this Saturday, having not played since the World Cup due to injury. Her presence could be the spark in the ignition that Quins need to get back to winning ways.

Sale Sharks will be coming into the weekend refreshed after a bye week in the last round following a poor start to the season, having only won against league newcomers Leicester Tigers so far. Two defeats followed before they came close in a hard-fought match against Exeter Chiefs in round 5, starting the match off in the ascendancy with two tries, Chiefs came back to level things off, only for the Sharks to hit back and take the lead again, a Hope Rogers try for the Chiefs left both teams with a bonus point draw.
With the halfway point in the season fast approaching it will be all to play for before heading into the festivities in December.
