Zander Fagerson tells Premier Sports: “Proud of the boys coming back from that. We came in at half time, made a plan and stuck to it. It’s a special day for the club. It was amazing.”
Matt Fagerson adds: “It’s one of the best experiences at Scotstoun we’ve ever had.
“Second half, when we started getting the roll on, and George is pumping his arms to the crowd… you can’t really describe it.
Sione Tuipulotu chips in: “We knew the first half would be difficult to play in with the conditions. We’ve been behind in a lot of games, and when I look around the dressing room when Franco [Smith] speaks, I don’t doubt anyone believes we can come back.
“When we scored after half time, I thought something might be brewing.
“I’ve got so much respect for that Toulouse team and everything they’ve achieved, and that’s one of the great home victories for us, and it’s amazing to be a part of.”
