Thomas Frank’s reprieve from harsh, intense criticism following Tottenham Hotspur’s recent poor performances was rather brief, as Spurs were wayward once again in a 3-0 defeat away to Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

FOREST 3-0 SPURS — Video highlights & recap

Spurs haven’t won back-to-back games in the league since August. Below is the latest Thomas Frank reaction, speaking after his side’s fourth defeat in their last seven Premier League games.

Thomas Frank reaction — What did Spurs boss say after 3-0 defeat to Forest?

Was that a real disappointment? “Yeah, it was. It’s hugely disappointing. That was a bad performance, especially first half. I think overall, especially after the 1-0 goal, we looked disjointed. Also after the second goal, it looked disjointed after that; didn’t win enough duels; and we couldn’t hit each other — it seems like we gave the ball away every single time we won it back throughout the game. That doesn’t help to win a football match.”

“On paper, black and white, we lose 3-0 here. That is disappointing. The better team won today. … When things go against us, we have to keep doing the right thing and keep our cool heads.”

On the sloppy play in possession: “That’s down to individuals, with all due respect. … They need to be able to hit each other. Simple passing. I think we lost the ball 20 times. Simple passing.”

On Djed Spence’s angry reaction to being subbed off: “I haven’t seen it, so. … I definitely need to see it back, thank you for the information. … There’s three things he can be angry about — his own performance, the team performance or being subbed off.”
