Ex-Prince Andrew Windsor-Mountbatten may be more or less disgraced from the royal family, unable to do most of the activities he’s done for most of his life, but little has changed. He still has his parties, despite the fallout that came from Virginia Guiffre’s posthumously-released memoir, NOBODY’S GIRL. He may have lost his titles, a lot of his money and connections, but it seems police action won’t happen yet.

Along with all his Epstein connections, Andrew was accused of using a taxpayer-funded security detail to investigate Giuffre, who alleged she was forced to have sex with Andrew multiple times. (She did sue Andrew in a New York civil court, which was subsequently settled, and Andrew paid Giuffre an undisclosed amount.)
Despite being accused of investigating Giuffre, a Metropolitan Police spokesperson told BBC News that they would “take no further action” in the claims. And to make it more infuriating, they’re not reopening the investigation.

“The Met remains committed to thoroughly assessing any new information that could assist in this matter,” the police spokesperson added. “To date, we have not received any additional evidence that would support reopening the investigation. In the absence of any further information, we will be taking no further action.”
They added, “As with any other matter, should new and relevant information be brought to our attention, including in any information resulting from the release of material in the U.S., we will assess it.”
