Based in Mirfield, D Croft & Son will lead the construction of a permanent base for Huddersfield’s professional rugby league team.

D Croft & Son was originally brought on for infrastructure works and specialist groundworks, but their performance led to them being given full responsibility for the project.

John Croft, director at D Croft & Son, said: “This new training facility is more than an upgrade – it’s a launchpad for what comes next.

“We’re creating a space built for progress, ambition and possibility.

“With this facility, we’re unlocking new potential, pushing standards higher and setting the stage for the next generation to train, grow and lead the future.”

The project is scheduled for completion by mid-February and will become the club’s first permanent home.

The company is known for commercial groundworks, new-build developments, home extensions, and internal refurbishment schemes.

It is accredited by Constructionline, CHAS, and the NHBC.

The project highlights the value of local partnerships and investment.

Once complete, the facility is expected to become a central hub for the club’s future success and a source of pride for the wider Huddersfield area.
