The fast food giant started working on a new restaurant in Holt Street, Fakenham, in October.
It came after months of debate, with locals claiming it could have a negative impact on children’s health, traffic, noise and litter.
McDonald’s initially announced it would open on December 10 – but, for reasons that remain unknown, this was pushed back at the last minute.
The first customers are now set to be welcomed through the doors next week on December 17.
According to planning documents, the new restaurant will be open from 6am until midnight every day, with late night refreshment available 11pm to 12am.
It is the 15th to be opened by the family-run franchise group K Foley Ltd and around 90 jobs are expected to be created as a result of the opening.
Recruitment began in October.
