The Irish-Portuguese U23 development team, Velo Performance, has finalised its 10-man roster for the 2026 season at home and abroad, with no fewer than eight Irish riders in the line-up.
Among the signings are three Irish riders who return after spending last season with the team, while five new Irish riders will also race for the squad next year. The strong Irish contingent is bolstered by one British rider and one Dutch cyclist.
And as the team has taken shape over the off season, so too has the sponsor line-up as Velo Performance will have at last three Irish companies with their logos on the kit for next year.
They are Dornan Group, which already sponsors Rás Mumhan in Co Kerry every Easter, as well as GMC Utilities Group, an engineering firm based in north Dublin, and McGuirk Hire, which is also based in Dublin.
The team’s title sponsor remains VeloPerformance, the Portuguese cycling holiday and cycling coaching company while Verge remains the kit supplier for 2026.
The riders on the roster next year are listed below, along with their teams from 2025.
