Scottie Scheffler has tested out the TGL simulator for the first time ahead of potentially joining the league.
The world number one is the most high profile PGA Tour golfer not yet involved.

Scheffler was absent from the rosters for the inaugural 2025 season of the indoor golf league.
However, he has now been seen testing out the facilities at the purpose-built SoFi Centre.
The four-time major winner was all smiles as he found the green with a tee shot on the simulator.
It comes amid reports a team could soon be launched for Texas.

Scheffler currently resides in Dallas, with logistical issues one of the reasons put forward for his absence from TGL.
Matches are staged at the SoFi Centre in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida in between PGA Tour events.
The TGL have filed trademarks for a Texas-based team, with Motor City Golf Club already announced as the first expansion franchise.
They will join the league in 2027 and represent Detroit, Michigan.
Scheffler is fresh from another astonishing year on the PGA Tour, winning six events to maintain his status at the top of the world rankings.
Those victories included his first triumphs at the PGA Championship and The Open to add to his two Masters wins.

He could soon add the TGL title to his trophy cabinet, with the league’s second season just weeks away.
The 2026 edition is scheduled to begin on December 28 and run through until March.
What is TGL?
The TMRW Golf League is owned by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy alongside sports executive Mike McCarley.
Founded in 2022 before the first season this year, the golf league features some of the sport’s biggest names competing on simulators and indoor greens.
Teams representing Atlanta, Boston, Jupiter, Los Angeles, New York City and San Francisco contested the first season of the league.
Atlanta Drive GC were ultimately crowned the inaugural champions after winning the SoFi Cup Finals in March.

As well as Woods and McIlroy, other notable participants include Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose, Xander Schauffele and Shane Lowry.
A total of 24 players featured in the 2025 season, with each of the six teams made up of four PGA Tour stars.
