The relationship between Brooklyn Beckham and his family have heightened with Victoria and David no longer following him or his wife Nicola on Instagram.
Last night, The Mail reported that they removed Brooklyn from their following – a claim refuted by their younger son Cruz. The 20-year-old posted a story claiming that he, his mum and dad had all been blocked. “NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I,” Cruz wrote. Nicola, 30, also does not follow David and Victoria, and they don’t appear on her list of followers.
It follows months of discontent, with Brooklyn notably missing his dad’s birthday party in May. The feud is thought to have kicked off during the lead-up to Brooklyn’s 2022 nuptials with American heiress and actress Nicola Peltz. Reports suggested that wedding planning caused a stir, and there were claims that the Peltz clan were miffed at the Beckhams for not chipping in financially to support the couple’s lavish California lifestyle.

Cruz hit back at the claims on Instagram
In June, the war of words escalated as insiders labelled the Beckhams as ‘tight’ and alleged that Nicola’s parents “threw money at anything and everything” – including the two Los Angeles homes where Nicola and Brooklyn live. In contrast, David and Victoria have always aimed to teach their children about the value of money from an early age, with Brooklyn even working as a barista when he was just 15.
However, pals have leapt to the defence of the financial backing the couple receive from Nicola’s billionaire parents, refuting claims that she is “spoilt.” A source close to Brooklyn and Nicola stated: “Nicola doesn’t deny she’s had a fortunate life, and she’s grateful for it. But she’s also been working for over 20 years, and now writes, directs, and produces her own projects.” They added: “Her parents are proud to support their children, and the idea that this reflects poorly on them simply doesn’t hold up.”

Tensions hit fever pitch when Brooklyn and Nicola were no-shows at David’s birthday bash in May – despite jetting to London specifically for the occasion. The couple are believed to have boycotted the do after discovering his former flame – who is dating his brother Romeo – would be in attendance. Brooklyn also snubbed his father on Father’s Day.

According to US outlet TMZ: “Sources say Brooklyn and Nicola were told to show up to the main celebrations or they wouldn’t get a chance to see the family… leaving the two saddened because they simply won’t be around Brooklyn’s brother Romeo and his girlfriend, Kim Turnbull.”
Kim, 24, and Romeo, 23, shared a series of loved up snaps on Friday on Instagram as they enjoyed a romantic getaway in France.
Speaking to The Sunday Times Style Magazine, the DJ and model has previously revealed how she copes with being thrust into the spotlight whilst battling speculation about her personal life.

She revealed: “It’s definitely tough, whatever it is, when people are saying things about you that aren’t necessarily true and, most importantly in my opinion, don’t align with your character and your values.
“You want to turn around and reply to every comment and have your say in it, but at the end of the day you just can’t.”
Previously, Brooklyn’s younger sibling Cruz seemed to aim a dig at his eldest brother, declaring the “truth would unfold”. The 21 year old turned to Instagram to demonstrate his backing for his parents, posting pointed lyrics from The Beatles’ 1969 track with the working title of The End to his Stories.
Followers were swift to connect the lyrics to the Beckhams’ ongoing rift with Brooklyn. They stated: “Love you, I love you / Love you, I love you / Love you, I love you / Love you, I love you / And in the end / The love you take / Is equal to the love you make”.
He wrote alongside the post: “The truth will unfold”.
It has been suggested that Brooklyn’s choice to buy a new property in LA and establish roots in the American city was linked to his desire to create lasting distance from his parents and their base in London and the Cotswolds.
However, an insider refuted this claim. Speaking to the Daily Mail, they said: “This house has nothing to do with family dynamics. David and Victoria also own property in the US, this is no different.
“Both Nicola and Brooklyn’s careers are based in Los Angeles, and Brooklyn spent part of his childhood there while his father played for LA Galaxy. During that time, he attended school in LA for several years and built a life and friendships in the city. LA has always felt like home to him.”
