A majority of Belfast City councillors have backed a motion calling on the UK Government to immediately allow medical access for pro-Palestine hunger strikers and for the First and deputy First Ministers to intervene in their official capacity.
A special meeting of Belfast City Council was held at short-notice on Monday evening to discuss the motion.
