The soaps aren’t slowing down on the drama front as we speed towards New Year.
On Emmerdale there’s danger ahead for more than one character, with spoilers revealing “a threat to life”. There’s also more than one exit teased.
On EastEnders, the fallout to Christmas continues to cause drama, with new secrets shared. Soon, a huge flashforward twist could change everything.
On Coronation Street, fans will see Debbie Webster and Ronnie Bailey’s wedding arrive, with drama expected. There’s also more dark scenes for Todd Grimshaw and Theo Silverton.

Max arrives and causes carnage as Cindy confronts him. Max is dealt some home truths, as he decides to try and right some wrongs. After a chat with Lauren and Oscar, Max vows to fight for his family, but a New Year’s Day flashback to 2027 could change everything in an instant.
Harry returns to Walford, and tells Gina he wants to stay as friends, while it’s clear he’s plotting revenge on Ravi. Honey and Billy look after Nigel as Phil and Julie look at prospective care homes, Penny has an offer for Gina and Harry is given some advice which could lead to disastrous consequences.

Kit and Sarah worry about missing Carla, so detective Kit does some digging. Soon, a chat with Asha leads to his biggest find yet. Meanwhile, Becky continues with her plan to flee with Lisa and Betsy, but how far will she go to convince them?
It’s safe to say things take a horrifying turn. Todd’s left out in the cold after Theo makes a discovery about his partner’s past with Nick. When Theo offers to save the day at George and Glenda’s party, he uses it to leave Todd stranded after accusing him of flirting with Nick.
When Theo later lashes out at Todd, he makes a run for it, and towards the new year, a concerned Billy uncovers Todd’s bruises – so will Theo finally be exposed? Ben works out Maggie’s plan, Evelyn urges Tyrone not to fear what’s ahead, and Abi breaks down to former rival Tracy over her relationship with Carl.
Debbie’s desperate for Carl and Kevin to bury the hatchet before her wedding, and Shona suffers a scare with the baby. Towards the end of the week, Debbie and Ronnie’s big day arrives, and with Carl secretly planning on doing a runner Kevin rages – but can he be stopped?
