It’s Christmas week, and the BBC is airing one of its big new festive specials tonight: Stuffed, starring Taskmaster favourites Guz Khan and Morgana Robinson. They both appeared on season 12, where Robinson won and Khan came second.
The hour-long special of Stuffed focuses on Arslan Farooqi (Khan), the Muslim patriarch of a mixed-faith family who isn’t overly bothered about Christmas. His other half Hannah, however, is obsessed with it – especially after recently losing her mum.
When he unexpectedly receives a massive Christmas bonus of £8,000, he decides to take the family to Lapland so Hannah and the kids can have the perfect Christmas.
But he soon discovers that the extra payment was an admin error and the company wants the money back. Can he sort out the messy situation without ruining his family’s holiday?
Stuffed is airing on BBC One tonight at 9pm.

If you don’t want to wait, Stuffed, which was written by Khan’s Man Like Mobeen co-creator Andy Milligan, has been available on BBC iPlayer since 13 December.
The Telegraph described it as a “fun caper”, while The Guardian said: “Like all good Christmas shows, it balances humour with a sweet undercurrent of melancholy.” They added that the show was “quietly groundbreaking”.
Speaking to the Guardian, Khan said: “I don’t know if at Christmastime there have been many depictions of inter-faith couples.
“It’s a really interesting dynamic. They just live a normal life. There’s nothing aggy, nothing stressful. It’s all the stuff that any couple would go through. And for me and Andy, especially on Man Like Mobeen, so many people would say: ‘Isn’t that groundbreaking?’

“We were like, ‘Not really.’ It’s just normal life. I suppose a lot of the country will tune in and be like: ‘OK, maybe that’s the first time I’ve seen it.’ Maybe it’ll piss some people off. And you know, that’s also part of the journey.”
At the moment, it looks like Stuffed might be a one-off, with Khan noting: “Unless the sequel is changed to somewhere warm with a beautiful beach, I’m out.”
Stuffed is on BBC One tonight at 9pm, or on iPlayer now.
