The south coast broadcasting legend will host a Christmas Day special on Nation Radio South from 10am to 1pm.

Mr Dinenage said: “I can’t wait to share some great Christmas songs and say a few hellos to friends and families across the South.

“Christmas Day is a time for family and friendship, and I know that Nation Radio is already a friend and companion to tens of thousands of listeners across the south.”

He follows the station’s Christmas Day breakfast show from 6am to 10am, hosted by Steve Power and Selina Ross.

Mr Power said: “Having Fred on air is a real Christmas treat for listeners across the south.

Listeners can tune in on DAB Digital Radio, on 106FM and 106.6FM, online, through the Nation Player mobile app, or by asking their smart speaker to play Nation Radio South.
