A new Sadie Sink Spider-Man 4 rumor has hit the internet.

Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man 4, also known as Spider-Man: Brand New Day, arrives in United States theaters next summer. Directed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ Destin Daniel Cretton, the movie will once again see Tom Holland reprise his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

Stranger Things’ Sadie Sink has been cast in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, though it has not been officially revealed who she might be playing as of yet. There has, however, been no shortage of theories, reports, and predictions regarding her mystery MCU character, especially after it was announced that Sink will be reprising her role in Avengers: Secret Wars.

What is the latest Spider-Man 4 Sadie Sink rumor?

On Twitter, Cryptic HD Quality said that they were wrong about their “previous Sadie Sink tease” and that it now looks like audiences are “back to square one” when it comes to guessing who she’ll be playing. The scooper previously shared a “hint” that suggested she might be some sort of supernatural, potentially multiversal, villain.

Cryptic HD Quality did say, however, that a report from Jeff Sneider’s The InSneider regarding Sink’s character appears to be true, and then later responded “Yeahh” to a question asking if she’s going to be a mutant. This has led many fans to believe she’ll be playing Jean Grey, which is a rumor that continuously appears, disappears, and reappears in this ongoing rumor cycle.

This is still just a rumor and should be taken with a grain of salt at this time.

With a supporting cast that includes Zendaya as Michelle “MJ” Jones-Watson, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, Michael Mando as Mac Gargan/Scorpion, and Marvin Jones III as Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released on July 31, 2026.
