Celebrity Gladiators crowned its newest champions in thrilling scenes with one star scraping victory in a nail-biting finish – but not everyone was happy.
The BBC show’s festive episode saw Sam Thompson, Joe Wicks, Vogue Williams and Nicola Adams enter the arena.
Only two ultimately had the honour to be named the winner and lift a hard-earned trophy.
It came down to a very close contest between media personality Vogue, 40, and former professional boxer Nicola, 43.
Although Nicola had a comfortable lead for most of the Eliminator, Vogue caught up by the Travelator section.
The pair both made it up neck-and-neck, seemingly in an almost photo finish to their face-off.

Writing online, viewers criticised Vogue’s win after the star was given a ladder for assistance earlier in the Eliminator
Vogue was confirmed as the winner, with co-host Barney Walsh revealing: ‘There was only two hundreths of a second in it.’
Writing online, viewers criticised the decision as earlier in the Eliminator, she had struggled to climb up a rope – with a ladder being brought in to help out.
Posts on X included: ‘@NicolaAdamsOBE was robbed of that trophy. If @VogueWilliams hadn’t been given the ladder so she could climb up the rope, she would’ve been nowhere near Nicola.
‘Vogue should’ve handed the trophy to Nicola rather than waving it around triumphantly. Very unsportsmanlike;’
‘How on earth can Vogue win after being literally given a ‘leg up’ on a ladder! #Gladiators;’
‘How did @BBC Gladiators allow Vogue Williams to win when she was given a ladder to help her.. so unfair! #gladiators #bbc #voguewilliams;’
‘Nicola was totally robbed, Vogue cheated.’
Vogue was visibly stunned as she reacted to her victory, before remarking: ‘I honestly cannot believe that.
‘I’ve had the best day and the crowd… when I was doing so badly, you were so nice. Honestly, thank you. You push us on.’

Meanwhile, Nicola told presenter Bradley Walsh: ‘I came down on the zipline and I just landed funny on my ankle.
‘And then I just couldn’t get my ankle going.’
After being presented with the runner-up prize, Nicola quipped: ‘It’s the first silver medal I’ve had.’
In the men’s contest, fitness coach Joe, 40, managed to overcome reality star Sam, 33.
The presenter and author put his athletic prowess to good use as he completed the Eliminator before his rival.
Speaking afterwards to Bradley and Barney Walsh, Joe said: ‘Even though I had a bit of a breather, I still found that Travelator hard.
‘It’s much harder than watching it at home on TV.
‘I’m really chuffed that I won, but I think he’s an amazing partner.’
Despite coming up short, Sam seemed exhilarated by the experience as he shared: ‘I’m so chuffed, it is so amazing.
‘The crowd, everybody here – that was so fun!’
