Hull FC man Brad Fash is heading into his testimonial year and the forward has confirmed a unique event as part of his testimonial.

Renowned for his iconic flowing mullet, Fash has been somewhat of a cult hero at the Black and Whites in recent years and he’s leaned into that iconic mullet as part of his upcoming testimonial year.

It’s been confirmed that the next event in his testimonial year will be an afternoon of free mullet hair cuts at a local barber shop, with the mulleted man himself in attendance.

Young fans will be able to go down to The Barber Shop in Hessle between 3 pm and 5 pm on Saturday, 3rd January, where free mullet hair cuts will be given to kids ahead of the return to school.

Brad Fash will be in attendance and there will also be plenty of testimonial attendance on sale, with young fans encouraged to message now in order to book their appointment.

Hull FC man Brad Fash launches unique testimonial event

It’s certainly a different way to promote a testimonial game but it’s one that may well work with Fash renowned for his mullet, something he’s sported for much of his Hull FC career.

He debuted for the club in 2015, spending time away on loan, but ultimately playing almost 200 games for the Black and Whites across his decade of service.

Hull FC will take Fash’s testimonial on the road with the game set to be played at Brantingham Park, the home of local rugby union side Hull Ionians. It’s a far smaller venue with a capacity of 1,500, and just 240 seats available.

Huddersfield Giants will be the visiting side on Sunday, January 25th with kick-off at 2 pm. It will be a chance for fans to pay tribute to Fash but also the first chance to see some of the club’s new recruits with Hull FC’s other confirmed pre-season friendly coming in February against Wigan.
