The Minister for Education has announced details of a Wellbeing Grant Scheme to develop supports being provided as part of a pilot scheme from Education Wellbeing Teams in school clusters in Cork, Carlow, Dublin 7 and Dublin 16.
All schools taking part in Strand Two of the Counselling and Mental Health Pilots in Primary Schools are set to receive a payment of €2,000 which is set to be spent on purchasing sensory regulation equipment, wellbeing gardens, running Wellbeing Ambassador programmes and other interventions.
