Pakistan batters Sahibzada Farhan and Hasan Nawaz have climbed significantly in the latest ICC T20I rankings after their strong performances in the third T20I against Bangladesh.Â
Farhan made the most notable move, jumping 69 places to reach 97th position with 389 rating points. He has now entered the top 100 T20I batters for the first time.
Hasan Nawaz also impressed, rising 14 spots to claim joint 54th place alongside South Africa’s David Miller. Both batters now hold 500 points each.
T20I captain Salman Ali Agha moved up two spots to 91st, while young opener Saim Ayub also gained two positions and now sits at 62nd.
Despite these individual improvements, some of Pakistan’s batters saw a decline. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan dropped to 14th and 16th positions, respectively. Mohammad Haris experienced a significant fall of 15 places, landing at 65th with 476 points. Fakhar Zaman also slipped two spots to 81st with 422 points.
India’s Abhishek Sharma has claimed the top position in the T20I batting rankings, replacing Australia’s Travis Head. Another Indian batter, Tilak Varma, has jumped to third place.
On the bowling front, no Pakistani player features in the top 20. Pacers Abbas Afridi and Haris Rauf both slipped two places, now ranked 24th and 26th. Shaheen Afridi moved up one position to 35th with 536 points.
Spinner Abrar Ahmed dropped to 51st, while T20I vice-captain Shadab Khan also went down two spots to 67th.
New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy remains the top-ranked T20I bowler, followed by England’s Adil Rashid and India’s Varun Chakaravarthy in second and third place, respectively.
