Charlotte Crosby and fiancé Jake Ankers have defended themselves after the reality star shared an edited photo of baby Pixi on a plane during their Maldives trip

Former Geordie Shore personality Charlotte Crosby found herself having to justify her actions after the so-called “mam police” criticised her regarding her daughter’s conduct aboard an aircraft. The family, which includes Charlotte’s partner Jake Ankers, embarked upon a winter getaway to the Maldives.
However, whilst awaiting departure, the couple, who are parents to daughters Alba, three, and Pixi, 11 months, were attempting to occupy themselves. Charlotte uploaded a humorous photograph which she had manipulated to give the impression that infant Pixi was suspended from an overhead bar within the aircraft.
The TV personality subsequently shared an image of a face covering she was sporting, before returning to her photograph of Pixi once she’d touched down in the Maldives. She then disclosed that she’d become a target for social media commenters, who had entirely misunderstood the jest and had been inundating her with hostile messages.
Celebrity Big Brother champion Charlotte uploaded a photograph of the unedited image of Pixi, in which Jake could unmistakably be observed supporting Pixi near the emergency exit signage. She penned: “Right we have landed in the Maldives, wait until I tell you all the adventure it took to get here..
“BUT FIRST why have I been getting sooooo many messages off people kicking off at Pixi doing pull ups on the fire exit sign. Let the girl live for gods sake! ! ! ! ! !”, reports the Mirror.
“LMAO come on yous! You didn’t actually think that was real did you? ! I just photoshopped Jake out, we were delayed for ages on the runway and bored!
“And couldn’t stop laughing at how Pixi looked like she was dangling herself! When I tell you the mam police have been loosing their s*** in my inbox!” She subsequently posted the unedited photograph.
Charlotte tackled the criticism she’d encountered via her story whilst she and Jake unwound over a few cocktails following their lengthy, taxing day. She disclosed the children had at last nodded off, after what felt like “7,000 hours”, and that she remained astounded by certain messages she’d received concerning Pixi.
She told her followers: “I’m just a little bit too tipsy to talk right now. But anyone that thinks that my 11-month-old daughter scaled a plane and did pull ups on a pole..”
Jake interjected: “Needs to f***ing check themselves before they wreck themselves! “Yeah,” Charlotte agreed. “Check it man. She’s f***ing special but she’s not that f***ing special.”
Positioned across the table, Jake added: “If she was, we’d be retired!” Charlotte proceeded to reveal one of the messages she’d been sent regarding the doctored image.
It read: “Not guna lie that’s just scruffy. “Can’t find my child” are you joking, on a flight. Your confined to your seats for god sake. Your surely not that busy that your child/baby just mooches off round the plane. Get a grip! ! For god sake! !” Charlotte wrote: “This message in particular really made me lol… at how serious they thought I was being.”
