The reason Eubank & Benn got the money they got is British Boxing fans sold out a 67,000 seat stadium. As great as the Boots vs Vergil is supposed to be, they’re going to have to make the fight profitable for both DAZN and Matchroom. It’s obvious that team Ortiz and Golden Boy already know what the outcome of this fight is going to be, so why isn’t Vergil sitting tight to face Fundura? They’re going to face the same roadblocks with the PBC. Turki paid Vergil just a small fraction compared to what they’re asking for now. Vergil can go punch air, and never become a champion.

Well, Turki is screwing up the market if he’s willing to pay Eubank Jr $10 million and now DAZN isn’t willing to split $10 million between Ortiz and Boots.

when u say split do u mean ortiz getting say 6 mil upfront and boots 4 mil and then ppv on top? or 5 mil each type of thing and then relying on ppv bonus or how does that work
