Midlands Hurricanes have confirmed their squad for the 2026 Championship season and it is full to the brim of ex-Super League players.
The Midlands have made nine new signings as they prepare to make the step up to what is a new look second tier and Mark Dunning will be feeling confident about his side’s ability to compete in 2026.
The Canes have made former Widnes Vikings and Oldham playmaker Danny Craven one of their high profile signings for the new season and he’ll wear the number six shirt, while former Rochdale Hornets man Lewis Else takes seven.
Tyler Dickinson and Oliver Roberts joined from Sheffield Eagles and they have been handed first choice pack numbers, in 10 and 12 respectively.
Toby Warren is one of a handful of ex-Leeds Rhinos players in the Midlands group, including Luis Roberts and Callum McLelland, and he will wear the number 20 after spending much of 2025 with Salford Red Devils in Super League.
Zach Jebson has joined the Midlands outfit after being released by Hull FC and he has been given 21, while Owen Restall, who has signed on a two-year deal from Halifax Panthers gets 18.
