Muay Thai prodigy Mikey Broadley, 15, will be a guest competitor in the WBC (World Boxing Council) World Championships in Bangkok on June 25 – an honour reserved for a select group of junior fighters.
Top teen Mikey is ranked number one in the world and Europe across several different organisations and secured 14 titles in 2025.
The invitation to the 2026 World Championships follows Mikey’s excellent performance in an exclusive tournament in Bangkok earlier this year.

While Mikey was controversially defeated in the final, he impressed boxing chiefs with his skills, and they will welcome him as their guest in the summer.
During the 2025 Bangkok event, the young fighter met some of the biggest names in combat sports, including Oleksandr Usyk, Terence Crawford, Conor Benn, and past greats Prince Naseem Hamed and Amir Khan.
He said his ‘favourite success’ of 2025 was winning at the WMO (World Muay Thai Organisation) Championships in Seville, where he defeated a five-time IFMA (International Federation of Muay Thai Associations) champion to win gold.
Mikey also captured the 57kg WKA (World Kickboxing Association) K-1 Glory Rules World Title and the WKA K-1 World Title, defeating opponents from England and New Zealand at the championships held in Sheffield.
He has also defeated multiple IFMA champions and is considering a future move into IFMA competition, the recognised pathway to Olympic selection.

Mikey started fighting in August 2024 and spent the whole of 2025 travelling all over the world.
The year ahead is set to be another busy one for the teenager, as he is already scheduled to appear at the World Muay Thai Organisation (WMO) World Championships, before defending his WMO European 57kg title in Rome later in the year.
Reflecting on his progress, Mikey said: “There are no easy fights anymore – everyone is world class.
“I’ve been lucky to meet champions from all over the world.”
Mikey has thanked Agoge Paisley, James McDonald, Stephen Irvine, Jamie Gillies, Flyn Shanks, Liam McKendry, and his personal trainer Jordan Waldron for their support and dedication.
The young fighter continues to proudly represent his club and community on the world stage.
Mikey’s mum Ashley added: “We are all so proud of Mikey.
“He is so disciplined and trains rigorously, and he deserves all his success.
“He has taken world, European, and domestic titles across multiple organisations in not only Muay Thai but K-1 and Glory Rules too.
“He is excelling and living his dream. I cannot wait to see what 2026 has in store for him.”
