Gogglebox favourite Sophie Sandiford has delighted fans after sharing photos of her rarely-seen fiancé

Gogglebox’s Sophie Sandiford has shared some sweet snaps with her fiancé as she celebrated the end of 2025.
Sophie first joined the long-running Channel 4 show back in 2017 for series 10, along with brother Pete. And it didn’t take the siblings long to become firm favourites with viewers.
Over the years, Pete and Sophie – who live in Blackpool – have had fans in stitches thanks to their witty banter and one-liners and comical takes on the telly highlights.
Away from the TV show though, Pete is a building company boss and proud dad to two children. Meanwhile, Sophie is a florist and in October she got engaged to boyfriend of three years, Ben Mckeown.

Sharing a picture surrounded by engagement balloons and snaps from luxury spa Galgorm Resort in Northern Ireland, the couple penned: “WE’RE ENGAGED” with a heart and ring emoji.
And on Wednesday (December 31) Sophie took to her Instagram and uploaded several photos from the past 12 months – including selfies with her beau Ben.
Sophie wrote in the caption: “It’s been some year – engaged, travelled, big birthdays, bridesmaid dislocated knee and so much more 2025 you’ve been a cracker.”

Sophie’s followers were left gushing over the rare snaps, with one person writing in the comments section: “Aww lovely slides, seeing a bit of your life outside Gogglebox.”
Another chimed in: “Beautiful photos happy new year to you both.” A third penned: “Awwee I absolutely so bloody love this

The couple first started dating back in 2022 and only recently Sophie revealed her brother Pete’s first words to Ben on an episode of Gogglebox.
Sophie recalled: “You, first time meeting him ‘oh, I thought you’d be taller,’ as you looked up at him. And then saying ‘I thought you were at least 6ft’ when he is 6ft.”
To which Pete protested: “He doesn’t look 6ft!”, adding: “Lies, already built on lies!” This prompted Sophie to quip in respond: “Just because he makes you look like one of the Borrowers!”
Gogglebox usually airs every Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
