The beloved Malone family on Gogglebox have introduced a new member to the family.
The clan – consisting of Tom Malone Senior, wife Julie and sons Shaun and Tom Jnr – made their debut way back in 2014 on the Channel 4 show. Daughter Vanessa has also made several appearances over the years.
Since then, the family, and their gang of Rottweiler dogs, have become firm favourites with fans thanks to their hilarious quips, never failing to make viewers laugh.
And although Tom Jnr left in 2021, the rest of the family have remained on the sofa, and returned for its 26th series that premiered last year.

Last year though, the family were left devastated when their beloved dog Bob passed away. Bob was the fourth dog that the Malones have lost since 2018.
Their four-legged family member Frank died in 2018 and four years later their other pup called Lucy died. In 2023, the family were dealt heartbreak again when Dave also died.
A new four-legged member made their debut
However, the family have since welcomed another dog and revealed the news in Thursday’s episode (January 1) of Gogglebox. During the instalment, Tom, Julie and Shaun were joined by granddaughter Saoirse.
Talking to Saoirse, Tom said: “Who have we got here?” The adorable new dog then appeared on the screen and could be seen playing. Tom proclaimed: “Buddy! Is he your new doggie? Have you rescued him from the pound?”

Saoirse replied: “Yeah,” as puppy Buddy continued to play with his new family. Tom then quipped: “We got this again have we? We got another nutcase in the house haven’t we? All right buddy are you the nutcase of the house now?!”
In June last year, son Shaun announced on Instagram that beloved family dog Bob had died. Alongside touching clips and pictures of the dog, he wrote: “Today is the day we had to say goodbye to big Bob, an absolutely great dog like a big cuddly bear.”
Meanwhile, mum Julie shared: “Today we sad goodbye to our beautiful protective Bobby, he spent his last day doing what he loved, watching over the Grandchildren playing in the garden .We are heartbroken. RIP our beautiful Big Bob xx.”
