According to the Guardian journalist Jacob Steinberg, multiple sources have described Nuno Espirito Santo as distant and uncommunicative with some of the West Ham United players.
There is frustration growing over his training methods and selection decisions, causing many players to lose their support for him
Certain players feel that, due to Nuno not communicating with them, they do not have a way back into his first-team plans.

He did not even say much to them in the aftermath of the shameful defeat against Wolves.
Members of the first-team squad also feel alienated and believe they have been played out of position under the Portuguese.
The Hammers board do not want to make the second sacking of the season, with it only being January, but things are far from settled behind the scenes.

The game against Wolves was a must-win and the Hammers not only lost it but went down without putting up a fight.
If it is a similar result and/or performance against Nottingham Forest, their main relegation rival, it would likely be curtains for him.
David Sullivan knows what relegation would entail and he may turn to a survival specialist who can have a short-term impact on this team.
More money could then be made available for the new manager, but sacking Nuno would also not be a cheap affair.
This means that acting on it could cut into the transfer budget for January.
The former Wolves and Nottingham Forest boss is in a fight for his life and he may not be in a job for too long unless and until things change drastically.
Jarrod Bowen needs to have a word with the manager in private and ensure that everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet ahead of the Forest game.
