In the future of boxing, it is unlikely that fans will ever get to experience a fighter that truly resembles Floyd Mayweather.
Retiring with a professional record of 50-0, Mayweather ended his career against Conor McGregor in a huge blockbuster fight.
As well as facing the UFC star, Mayweather has wins over the likes of Canelo Alvarez, Manny Pacquiao, and Oscar De La Hoya.
Although no fighter may be able to retire with another 50-0 record, one fighter has received a comparison to ‘Money’ due to one trait.

In a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience featuring Mike Vecchione, the pair engaged in a conversation about modern day boxing.
Within this conversation, they began speaking about current WBC World Lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson.
Stevenson’s last fight would see him successfully defend his title against William Zepeda, making it three title defenses for the 28-year-old.
Talking about the fight, Rogan was full of praise for Stevenson. Describing the fighter as ‘super skillful’, Rogan went on to say, “His last fight, best Philly shell since Floyd Mayweather.”
The podcast host added, “His defense was ——- incredible.”
Stevenson’s win over Zepeda improved his professional record to 24-0, as he was able to score a unanimous decision victory over the Mexican.
Joe Rogan does not believe that Devin Haney should still be undefeated
Speaking on another former lightweight, Rogan discussed recently retired Vasiliy Lomachenko.
Rogan has previously compared Oleksandr Usyk to a large Lomachenko and has often spoken of the fighter in high regard.
Reminiscing on ‘Loma’s’ 2023 fight with Devin Haney, Rogan believes that the wrong fighter got their hand raised on the night.
“I felt like he got robbed in the Haney fight,” Rogan said about Lomachenko. “It was a bummer to me because I was like, this is kind of a great comeback story.”
