The UCI Rankings have suffered quite a lot of changes with the Tour de France, which has delivered a massive amount of points through the riders in this most recent update. Tadej Pogacar however has won the race and has scored almost 9000 points this season, whereas only one other rider has scored above 4000.You can check the previous update. Hence Pogacar continues to reinforce his position in every ranking imaginable, even if he didn’t look the brightest at the end of the race. He is, in terms of points scored this season, leading Mads Pedersen, who also carries a big advantage over third place Mathieu van der Poel. Jonas VIngegaard, Isaac del Toro, Wout van Aert, Oscar Onley, João Almeida, Florian Lipowitz and Kévin Vauquelin complete the Top10.

Isaac del Toro has been scoring points in the non-World Tour races over the past few weeks that have added more to his tally, making him an impressive current fifth place. Oscar Onley, Florian Lipowitz and Kévin Vauquelin all took advantage of breakthrough Tours de France to climb into the Top10 of the standings, something which not even riders such as Simon Yates, Remco Evenepoel and Primoz Roglic have been able to do so at this moment.

Many of the Tour’s headliners occupy the spots just outside the Top10 too with Ben Healy, Simon Yates and Jonathan Milan just behind Vauquelin; whilst others such as Filippo Ganna, Tom Pidcock, Juan Ayuso and Derek Gee have maintained their position in the Top20 despite not having scored points this July.
