Stephanie Han has set her sights on Katie Taylor, five years after the Irishwoman fought her sister.

In 2021, Taylor defeated Jennifer Han to remain the undisputed world lightweight champion.

The American proved no match for Taylor, who picked apart her adversary from mid-range.

In the eighth round, Han was sent to the canvas by a flurry of shots as Taylor began to chase the stoppage.

In the end, Han hung on to see out the fight, but she was well beaten on the scorecards, with all three judges siding with Taylor by margins of 100-89.

Half a decade later, Jennifer’s little sister is seeking revenge for her loss.

Stephanie successfully defended her WBA lightweight title against former UFC champion Holly Holm on January 3.

Their clash was stopped in the seventh round after an accidental headbutt from Holm left the reigning champ bloodied.

Han was leading on all three judges’ scorecards at the time of the nasty injury and was subsequently awarded a technical decision win.

After extending her perfect record to 12-0, Han revealed her hopes of facing off with the Irishwoman.

She said post-fight: “I would love to fight Katie Taylor.

“Katie Taylor beat my sister, Jennifer Han, and I would love to avenge my sister’s loss and fight Katie Taylor.

“Katie Taylor, please, let’s go.

“You beat my sister. It’s my time.”

Who else could Stephanie Han fight?

While Han appears focused on a chance at familial revenge, there is a chance that Han could rematch Holm in her next outing due to the premature finish.

In light of that, Han was asked who else she would be keen to face aside from Taylor and Holm.

She responded: “If it’s not Holly Holm, I would take any of them.

“They are all talented, all worth [it] to fight. MVP has the best girls, so I would love to make it happen.”

One name that did come up was WBC lightweight champion Caroline Dubois.

“I am practising against southpaws. So I’m ready for any southpaw,” Han added of Dubois.
