The hotel business owned by Sir Andy Murray has served up an ace year after returning to profit.
The retired tennis champion bought Cromlix House Hotel in February 2013, paying about £1.8 million for the Victorian mansion.
It lies close to his home town of Dunblane and Murray, with his wife Kim Sears, invested heavily in the award winning five-star venue.
The couple had their wedding reception there in 2015, five years after his elder brother Jamie Murray and Alejandra Gutierrez did the same in 2010.

A financial statement filed by Cromlix LLP at Companies House states it recorded a profit of £193,379 in the most recent financial year, which covers the 12 months to March last year. That is turnaround from the loss of £369,044 it made in the previous accounting period.
The cash reserves held by the company also increased by more than £360,000 to reach £610,494 in the same period.
Its net liability position was reduced from £1.8 million to £1.6 million, while staff numbers increased from 82 to 88.

The statement showed Cromlix House Hotel Limited, another company controlled by Murray, charged Cromlix LLP a sum of £32,597 for the rental of the hotel, down from £34,114.
Murray, 38, won two Wimbledon titles, the US Open, Olympic gold medals and the Davis Cup in a glittering tennis career, which included a spell as the world No 1.

After retiring in 2024 following the Paris Olympics he spent a few months coaching his former rival Novak Djokovic.
Since that arrangement ended last year Murray has embarked on a sold-out speaking tour while also ramping up his commercial activities.
That has included partnerships with the shortbread maker Walker’s, the potato firm Albert Bartlett, Callaway, a golf specialist, and the pet food busines Purina. He is also involved with the venture capital firm Redrice.

Murray dabbled in business during his playing career making investments into various start-ups in technology and sport including launching his own collection of sports clothing with the apparel maker Castore.
Cromlix is closed at the moment as it is being overhauled with new restaurants, suites and wellness facilities.
It is expected to open again on May 15 with a message on social media saying it will be “an exciting few months as we close for the next stage of our transformation”.
The hotel also includes art pieces from the personal collection assembled by Murray which features work by the likes of David Shrigley, Damien Hirst and Maggi Hambling.
