The Brooklyn-based station worked with Greenpoint studio Decimal on the update, which went live on January 5th. Current residents include Ayanna Heaven, Deep Creep and 8ULENTINA.
The new website will also make live shows available for playback “just a few minutes” after they conclude, and allow listeners to save their favourite shows onto personal playlists. In the chat room of each live set, The Lot will also post an artists’ upcoming performance dates.
“This website is the result of hours of talks and efforts to try and push what an independent online radio station website could be and could do,” The Lot’s team shared in a Substack post. “It’s our new ever evolving platform and we hope it will allow us to connect better with all of you.”
At 2 PM ET today, January 6th, The Lot’s founder, Francois Vaxelaire, and Decimal’s cofounder, Chérif Zouein, will go on air to discuss the update and answer audience questions. Check out the new website.
