Fly-tipping has been spotted at three different locations in Craigneuk over the festive holiday period.
At the Jim Foley Community Centre, items including a mattress and bin bags have been dumped in the car park of the public facility.
Wooded materials and a pillow have also been thrown away on the grass that is adjacent to the community centre building.
On the lane that is located between Glencleland Road and Flaxmill Avenue, there has been a series of items dumped.

At the Meadowhead Road entrance to the site, the dumped materials include a fridge, bicycles and tyres.
On the section of the lane that can be accessed from Glencleland Road, there is a large amount of litter, cardboard and other materials.
The final section of the lane that backs onto Glencairn Avenue has also been subject to fly tipping with the dumping of items including mattresses.
Finally, at a section of land that is surrounded by the residential streets of Golfhill Road, Gateside Road, Briarwood Road and Wingate Street, a sofa, couch chair and bin bags have been left on-site.

Motherwell South East and Ravenscraig councillor Nathan Wilson has reported the fly tipping at the three different locations to the council’s Community Operations team and asked for the areas to be cleared of the materials.
Councillor Wilson said: “Fly-tipping is inexcusable and there is never any justification for the illicit dumping of waste in public areas.
“I was dismayed to learn of the considerable fly tipping at multiple locations in Craigneuk during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
“The Jim Foley Centre is a public facility for community use and it is not acceptable to throw away items in the car park and grass areas surrounding the building.

“The path between Glencleland Road and Flaxmill Avenue is a fly tipping hotspot and a large amount of materials have again been dumped across the lane from the entrance at Meadowhead Road towards the end of the site at Glencairn Avenue.
“I have notified the council about the fly tipping and requested that clean-ups be arranged to remove the dumped materials from each of the three locations.”
