The Carlisle Villa star has confirmed the date and venue for his next contest.

Haughan will box at Bolton Wanderers’ Toughsheet Community Stadium on Saturday, March 7.

The promising Cumbrian has been added to the undercard at an event headlined by Ash Marron’s Central Area Welterweight title fight against Louis West.

The event is staged by VIP Boxing, the promoters who signed Haughan to their stable last summer.

Haughan’s opponent at Bolton has yet to be confirmed.

The Carlisle middleweight boxer, 21, impressed on his pro debut in November when he claimed a solid victory over Polish opponent Daniel Przewieslik at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens.

He won the four-round fight on points by a margin of 40-35 to make a successful first step into the pro scene.

Haughan is managed by Steve Wood and continues to train at Carlisle Villa, where he came through the amateur ranks and whose coaches have completed professional coaching qualifications in order to continue guiding Haughan’s progress.
