Fans of The Traitors have made a plea to the show’s bosses to stop ‘spoiling’ the main show – after they noticed a ‘pattern’ in the spin-off which gives away twists in the main programme.
The Traitors: Uncloaked, hosted by Ed Gamble, airs straight after the main show on BBC One and gets together the banished and murdered contestants from the episode and invites guests on – including celebrities and former Traitors contestants – to comment on the antics inside the Scottish castle. However, at the end of each Uncloaked episode, host Ed teases the guests that viewers will see in the next episode – and some fans have noticed a ‘pattern’ as Uncloaked features guests who tend to give a nod towards the identity of the contestants who will next leave the show.
For example, Charlotte Church and Traitor Amanda – who are both Welsh – were invited on Friday’s episode to discuss Fiona’s exit, and their appearance was revealed at the end of Thursday’s stint of Uncloaked, meaning some fans pieced together who was going next before the scenes had aired.

One fan of the show pinpointed this on X, formerly known as Twitter, as they wrote: “So I worked out a theory last night, and I didn’t tweet it because I didn’t want to spoil tonight’s show but, alas, it came true. Regarding #Uncloaked, their guests keep spoiling the show, and I’m tweeting this so they hopefully see it and stop it!! @BBC
“They have themed guests, and the pattern is too obvious. For example, Mark was on last night after Amanda got banished by chance, because he was banished by chance too. The other guest was Fozia, murdered face to face… just like Maz.
“I knew Fiona would go tonight when I saw the guests were two ex Welsh contestants and a Welsh traitor. They had that secret couple on last week, when the other secret relationship was revealed, too. It’s crazy to me that such a well sealed show is putting results up there in plain sight?!” Viewers agreed as one replied with: “Agreed. Not subtle.” As another admitted: “Really wish I hadn’t read this!” And a third said: “This is huge actually”.

But not everyone backed the theory as one wrote: “How was Fozia a spoiler when we literally knew whoever was going out was going to be murdered face to face though?” As another suggested: “But its rare people would see the line up of guests on uncloaked before watching that earlier episode no? I’ve picked up on the link but only one i’d seen the episode in question #TheTraitors”.
While another asked: “Why are you looking at who the guests are before the show airs? Not rocket science”, to which the fan replied: “Ed literally said join us tomorrow with Charlotte and I immediately made the Welsh connection. Plus, the guests are right there in every episode description, and originally I looked so I’d know if I wanted to watch or not!”
Last night’s episode saw Traitor Fiona banished at a tense roundtable, following her very bold attempts to throw Rachel under the bus. It appears, however, that Rachel isn’t completely in the clear though as Harriet revealed she still suspects that Rachel could also be a Traitor – but will she be able to convince the other Faithfuls, too?
Speaking in a confessional at the end of the episode, Harriet said: “Rachel is my number one suspect and the person I will be keeping my eye on.” Meanwhile, Matthew was seen proposing a bold deal with the Traitors after he was given the opportunity to ask the Traitors two questions at the confessional booth.
After discovering they were planning to kill Jessie next, Matthew then asked the Traitors: “Here’s what I want to happen. I’m taking a massive risk here. I want to know that there’s some trust… I suspect Claudia will offer you the opportunity to seduce the next time you meet. I want you to turn that down, and I want you to murder Jessie. And then the next time you seduce, you can seduce me. So my question is, do we have a deal?” The epic moment ended in a cliffhanger and fans will have to wait until next week to find out if Matthew made a deal with the Traitors or not.
