Charley Hull is about to take her cult-hero status to another level.
The LPGA superstar has revealed she is launching her own YouTube channel, with plans already in place for it to drop around the middle of 2026 – and judging by the early hype, it could quickly become one of golf’s must-watch platforms.
Hull, 29, confirmed the news during a recent appearance on Jason Day’s new YouTube channel, The Lads, where the pair went head-to-head in a one-on-one match filmed at Tiburon Golf Club ahead of the Grant Thornton Invitational just before Christmas.
Both Hull and Day are Malbon Golf ambassadors, and the chemistry between the two was clear throughout the video.
But it was right at the end – after 18 holes had been played – when Day handed Hull the mic to share her biggest off-course news yet.

“Also, Charley’s going to be dropping a YouTube channel,” Day said.
“What are we calling it?”
Hull didn’t hesitate.
“Yeah, probably going to call it The Sweet Spot,” she replied.

“So stay tuned – in the middle of 2026 there will be some cool content on that.”
Day was clearly buzzing at the prospect.
“Look out for that, guys,” he added.
“She’s going to blow up on YouTube. We’ll have her back on the channel and do a little crossover match.”
We won’t spoil the result of their match here – but you can watch the full video below, and scroll to the very end to hear Hull tease The Sweet Spot for yourself.

Hull’s star power is only getting bigger
Hull is arguably the most popular player in women’s golf heading into 2026, and her appeal stretches far beyond the ropes.
She speaks her mind, plays with fearless aggression and is famous for staring straight down the flag, no matter the danger.
Fans love her honesty, her intensity – and her willingness to show the unfiltered reality of life as a touring pro.
Two years ago, Hull famously began smoking on the golf course, instantly going viral and attracting a whole new audience.

While she’s since kicked the habit – Hull is a committed fitness and health advocate – the moment cemented her reputation as one of the most relatable and talked-about players in the game.
Away from competition, Hull regularly shares her daily routines, workouts and life on the road across her social media platforms, giving fans unprecedented access to her world.
She has also gone a step further with her Passes channel, offering even more behind-the-scenes content to her most dedicated followers.
A YouTube channel feels like the natural next step – and if The Sweet Spot captures even half of Hull’s personality, it could be unmissable viewing.

Big goals on the course in 2026
Hull enjoyed a strong 2025 LPGA campaign, picking up her third career LPGA victory in September and finishing the year fifth in the world rankings.
However, one target still burns brighter than the rest: a first major title.
Hull has come agonisingly close on multiple occasions, and 2026 looms as a huge year as she looks to finally break through on the game’s biggest stages.
To help her go about doing that, Hull has upgraded her driver by moving into the new TaylorMade Qi4D just like Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler.

Hull admits she has already seen a four-yard improvement in her carry distance to 250 yards, and she’s also boosted her ball speed by 2mph to 150mph.
Jason Day’s cryptic ‘I’ve quit’ post sparks confusion
Hull’s YouTube announcement went public the same time Day himself sent golf fans into a spin with a mysterious Instagram post reading simply: “I’ve quit.”
The graphic left many fearing the worst as Day prepares for the 2026 PGA Tour season.
However, GolfMagic understands the Australian is certainly not leaving the PGA Tour.

Day is already committed to playing The AmEx in two weeks’ time, suggesting the post was more tongue-in-cheek than career-altering – though it certainly did its job in grabbing attention.
For now, all eyes are on Hull – and if The Sweet Spot delivers, 2026 could be just as big off the course as it is on it.
