The comedian took to social media to confirm the sad news

Comedian Jason Manford has cancelled a number of tour dates due to illness.
In a statement posted to his social media channels, his representatives confirmed that three dates over the next three days have been rescheduled.
The first of these is at the New Theatre in Oxford. It had been due to go ahead tonight but will now instead happen on November 16.
On August 1, he had been due to perform at The Engine Shed in Lincoln, which has now been moved to September 7, while a performance scheduled for August 2 at Embassy Hall in Skegness has been moved to February 15, 2026.

The statement, posted to the star’s Instagram and Facebook pages, read: “We regret to inform you that the following performances of A Manford All Seasons have been unexpectedly cancelled due to Jason Manford being unwell.
“Oxford, New Theatre will move from 31st July 2025 to the 16th November 2025.
“Lincoln, The Engine Shed will move from 1st August 2025 to the 7th September 2025.

“Skegness, Embassy Hall will move from the 2nd August to the 15th February 2026.
“Should you be unable to attend the rescheduled performance you will have the option to request a refund. Please hold onto your tickets. The venue or your point of purchase will be in touch with further details.
“Thank you for your understanding and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.”

Understanding fans took to the comments to wish the comedian all the best, with many telling him “get well soon.”
One fan posted: “Wishing you a speedy recovery mate,” while another wrote: “Take care Jason & get well soon.”
A third replied: “I’m sure no-one is more gutted than you, and for you to cancel the rest of this week means you must be really sick.
“Hope you’re home now to rest up properly? Take care fella.”
