But the group’s RM, Jin, Jimin, V, Suga, Jung Kook and J-hope have announced a comeback, with their first studio album in more than five years set to be released on March 20.

The untitled fifth full‑length features 14 tracks reflecting on the band’s journey.

Shortly after its release, the seven‑piece will kick off a whopping 79‑date world tour at Goyang Stadium near Seoul.

They’ll then play the Tokyo Dome for two nights before jetting across the Pacific for a North American run where they’ll play 28 stadium shows in 12 cities and make pit stops across Europe and Asia.

In Europe, they will play gigs in Madrid, Brussels, London, Munich and Paris.

But Scots fans have been left devastated after realising the band will not play any dates here.

One fan wrote on X: “World Tour huh? Where are the dates for Glasgow and Edinburgh? You can’t call it a world tour if you leave Scotland out!”

Another said: “BTS not doing a Scotland date…. I’m depressed.”

A third added: “Shame they ain’t coming to Scotland.”

Instead, they will perform two dates at London‘s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on July 6 and 7.

BTS stands for the Korean phrase Bangtan Sonyeondan which translates to “Bulletproof Boy Scouts”, although they also go by Bangtan Boys and “Beyond The Scene”.

Formed in 2010 and signed to Big Hit Entertainment in 2013, they smashed records with their first English‑language single Dynamite, which set the YouTube premiere view record.

They’re best known for tunes like Butter and Life Goes On and have collaborated with Western stars including Charli XCX, Coldplay and Halsey.

BTS were the first K‑pop act to bag a Grammy nod and remain South Korea’s best‑selling music act, selling over 40 million albums.

Tickets for BTS’ ARMY Membership will go on sale from January 22 to 23, while the general sale will be held on January 24.
