Gogglebox’s Ellie Warner took to social media to share her “last day” at work as she prepares to go on holiday. The armchair critic is renowned for her role on the popular Channel 4 programme.

Ellie commentates on the week’s best TV alongside her sister, Izzi Warner. The reality stars from Leeds first joined the show back in 2015 and have been fan favourites ever since.

Viewers were gutted when series 25 of the popular programme came to an end earlier this year. On the final episode of the season, the armchair critics thrilled fans with observations on Eurovision, Faking It and The Four Seasons.

Ellie is now enjoying a well deserved rest and will hopefully be returning for season 26 when it is expected to return in September. The reality star has recently taken to social media to share she is going into “holiday mode” for a couple of weeks.

Ellie now boasts a following of 490K on Instagram, where she frequently shares sneak peeks into her life beyond the Channel 4 show. Away from the cameras, she is a mum to two-year-old Ezra and lives with her boyfriend Nat Eddleston, whom she has been in a relationship with for several years.

Aside from giving her verdict on some of the latest TV, Ellie is also a hairdresser in her spare time. She works at a salon in Leeds and regularly updates her professional account on social media, which is called “elliewarnerhair.”

In a recent snap posted to her Instagram stories, Ellie shared a mirror selfie while she was wearing an apron covered in hair dye. She wrote: “Last day for a couple of weeks.” The Gogglebox star added: “Holiday mode pending.”

Ellie regularly shares photos from her busy family life, including “random” uploads as each month comes to an end. She has previously shared: “Random selection of things on my camera roll from the month of June” as well as a carousel of snaps when “lots of lovely things happened in May.”

The TV star was particularly in disbelief when her baby son, Ezra, celebrated his second birthday. She wrote: “Ezra’s birth month has just flown by! As have the last 2 years! Can’t believe I’ve got a 2-year-old now.” Co-stars Izzi, the Sandifords, and the Malones were among the thousands to like the post.

Gogglebox fans expressed their disappointed this week after finding out two stars have been axed from the show. Roisin Kelly and Joe Kyle were the first Scots to appear on Gogglebox in over six years but will not be returning to our screens on a Friday evening.

The couple announced the news on TikTok when a statement from Roisin said: “After three and a half years of sitting on the sofa Channel 4 have decided it’s time for Joe and I to stretch our legs and have not asked us back for season 26.

“Therefore we are leaving the Gogglebox family. We couldn’t be more grateful to Studio Lambert for the opportunity, the experience has actually been so mad and we will miss watching tv with you all on Friday nights!

“It’s been an honour to represent Scotland as some of the first Scottish people on the show and prove we don’t actually need subtitles.”
