Partnered with some incredible graphic projections around London promoting the surprise 13th LP last night, this isn’t an out of the ordinary move for Robbie to make.Â

In a post on Instagram, the former Take That star said: “”Come on it’s been long enough, I’ve decided I want to go now. It’s been ages, now, now, please deploy. Let’s go!”Â
First announced last May, the record was set for release on October 10, though was then pushed back to February 6 due to “scheduling issues”. The 11-track collection is largely inspired by the projects name, primarily focused around huge, guitar-driven hooks.
On ‘BRITPOP’ Robbie previously said: “I set out to create the album that I wanted toÂ
write and release after I left Take That in 1995. It was the peak of Britpop and a goldenÂ
age for British Music. I’ve worked with some of my heroes on this album; it’s raw, thereÂ
are more guitars and it’s an album that’s even more upbeat and anthemic than usual.
It is now looking as if the deluxe version of BRITPOP will be available on February 6 instead.Â
Currently joint top with The Beatles for most Number 1’s with 15, he will be looking to break an Official Charts record by becoming the act with the most Number 1 albums ever with this latest release.Â
