The North Lynn Boxing Academy will be held every Monday at the Discovery Centre on Columbia Way.
It is the result of a partnership between Freebridge Community Housing, Rise North Lynn, West Norfolk Moves and Heros Gym, with support from councillor Austen Moore.
Mr Moore said: “I think boxing is a great sport for young people, because it teaches resilience and discipline, while proving an outlet to let-off steam.”

The free sessions are open to people aged nine to 16 and aims to boost confidence, physical fitness and discipline in a positive setting.
Training is led by coaches from Heros Gym, including widely respected local coach and former boxer Mel Payne.
Becky Gillick, West Norfolk active communities officer at Active Norfolk, said: “This new boxing initiative in North Lynn is a meaningful step in widening access to positive, structured activity for young people.”
Sessions run from 4pm to 5pm for ages nine to 12, and 5pm to 6pm for ages 13 to 16.
