Crysencio Summerville has revealed an interesting nickname for Callum Wilson from those within the West Ham United squad.
Wilson is the talk of the town right now after scoring a late winner to secure West Ham’s huge win over Tottenham.
The 33-year-old scored amid a backdrop of uncertainty over his future. Wilson is expected to leave West Ham, which feels like an almighty risk.
How big of a MISTAKE would letting Callum Wilson leave prove to be?

Only Jarrod Bowen (6) has more goals than the former Newcastle forward this season. Letting that kind of experience walk through the door in a relegation scrap is hardly the wisest of ideas.
Indeed, it seems those within the West Ham squad know all about Wilson’s ability to find the back of the net.
West Ham players call Callum Wilson ‘The Gunman’
Summerville opened the scoring against Spurs. While there was an element of fortune to his goal, which was deflected in off Micky van de Ven.
Still, fortune favours the brave and it was his mazy run and shot at goal which caused all the problems.
Summerville played well for West Ham against Spurs but, clearly, it is Wilson who is getting many of the plaudits.
After the game, the winger revealed that the squad call Wilson “The Gunman”, because he simply always scores.
Speaking to West Ham’s official website, Summerville said: “In the team we call him ‘the Gunman’, because he always scores! It was great his goal got us the win, and as I said, we’ll be looking to add to it when we go back out there next week.”
On a scale of 1-10, how confident are you of West Ham staying up after they beat Spurs?

Even the West Ham squad know how good Callum Wilson
New signings Taty Castellanos and Pablo Felipe have both impressed during the early part of their careers while clad in claret and blue.
Still, and while not to criticise either, it’s hard to confidently suggest that they are likely to score more goals than Wilson.

They simply do not have his track record. The duo may be a better choice to start games, but they have so far shown little to suggest they can offer the touch that Wilson can.
Given his nickname, the West Ham squad appear to know they’ve got quite the goalscorer on their hands.
With that in mind, letting him leave does seem strange.
