Speaking following his victory, Satoshi has confirmed he will rework his performance for the Eurovision stage in Vienna.
Speaking with Moldova 1 following the Moldovan national selection, Satoshi confirmed he will rework his performance of “Viva Moldova!” for Eurovision. The singer, who will perform on Moldova’s return to the contest, said he was shocked by the level of support he had received, and will make changes to ensure the best result possible for Moldova. Following his victory, he told viewers:
“This is the first time I’ve participated in a music contest. I’m self-taught, but I love music madly and, more than that, I love my birth place, culture, people and I really think that we have something to offer the world and Europe. I think we have some wonderful people, full of heart, talent, and unimaginable inner wealth. I want to thank everyone for their support and trust – both those in the jury and those in the audience who voted for us.”
Satoshi has been awarded 1 million lei (50,000 Euro) by TRM to help prepare for the 70th Eurovision Song Contest. TRM will be fully supporting Satoshi and his team as they prepare for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. As part of the broadcaster’s plan, Satoshi will go on a promotional tour across the participating countries. At the same time, Satoshi’s staging concept will be completely reviewed with additional graphics and choreography supported by a new team.
Satoshi won the Moldovan selection after receiving the maximum points available from the Moldovan jury, the international jury and the Moldovan public. He will perform in the first half of the first semi-final on May 12.
