Another addition to the Royal Family is on the way as Princess Alexandra’s granddaughter announces she is expecting a child. Flora Vesterburg confirmed the news on Monday as she shared a photograph of her and her husband Timothy Vesterburg smiling on Instagram.

She wrote: “Delighted to share that Timothy and I are expecting our first child. We’re truly over the moon. Photographed by my father.”

Flora, who is the granddaughter of Princess Alexandra, held her bump in the new photograph. They did not confirm when the baby is due.

Flora and Timothy’s child will be the great-grandchild of Princess Alexandra.

Although Flora does not have a royal title and is not a working royal, Flora is still a member of the Royal Family and has been seen at royal events before.

She was last seen in December 2025 attending the Royal Family Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace, where she was spotted arriving in a car alongside her husband.

She is one of the royals to attend the lunch every year with her relatives.

Although not a senior royal, Flora, 30, still had a number of royals attend her marriage blessing in 2021 – a year after her and her husband officially tied the knot during the pandemic.

Guests to the 2021 event included Princess Alexandra, Duchess Sophie, Prince Edward and Sophie Winkleman.

Other royals to attend included Lady Helen Taylor, Lady Gabriella Kingston and Lady Amelia Windsor.
