Gareth Gates will be bringing his latest tour, Boyband in the Buff, to the Britannia Pier in Great Yarmouth on June 20.
The show celebrates hits from the 90s and noughties, from Backstreet Boys to NSYNC, Blue to Take That, and promises to be a night “as nostalgic as it is naughty”.
It was inspired by the success of the West End and Broadway hit, Magic Mike, and includes a shower scene where Gates – who will also star as The Beast in Great Yarmouth’s panto this year – will be scantily clad in swimwear.
He said his 16-year-old daughter, Missy, is “mortified” at his latest project.
“She goes to school in Wiltshire and she’s very pleased that I’m not going to a Âtheatre near there,” he explained.
“She says she couldn’t handle Âseeing Daddy topless on a poster so close to her school.
“She’s always been a big fan of everything I’ve done, but she’s sceptical about this one.”
Tickets are available now and start at £35.
