Victoria Beckham’s 2007 Ugly Betty cameo, where her character was locked in a cupboard for upstaging a wedding, has resurfaced after son Brooklyn’s claims about his 2022 wedding.
Back in 2007, Channel 4 viewers were stunned when former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham appeared in the hit TV show Ugly Betty.
The 51-year-old made a cameo in the episode titled A Nice Day for a Posh Wedding, a playful reference to her nickname in the iconic girl band.
In the episode, the fashion icon played maid of honour to Wilhelmina Slater (Vanessa Williams ), though as a demanding bridesmaid, she was intent on stealing the limelight and making the day all about herself.
One scene showed Wilhelmina proudly displaying her Vera Wang wedding gown, only for Victoria to unveil an even more eye-catching outfit, drawing all the compliments away from the bride.
Fed up with being overshadowed, Wilhelmina took drastic action by locking Victoria in a cupboard during the ceremony to prevent her from upstaging the big moment, reports the Express.

The fashion star could be heard hammering on the door, shouting: “Anybody out there? I think the door is locked! This really is major.”
This long-forgotten cameo has resurfaced following claims by her son Brooklyn Beckham that she ‘humiliated’ him during his wedding to Nicola Peltz in 2022.
In a lengthy Instagram statement posted last night (January 19), the 26-year-old alleged that Victoria cancelled the making of Nicola’s wedding dress and reportedly brought his former girlfriends around him to “make him uncomfortable”.
Part of his post read: “My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic song.

“In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife, but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me.
“She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”
Victoria has yet to publicly address her son’s bold allegations, while her husband David offered a somewhat enigmatic comment.
During his guest appearance on CNBC’s Squawk Box, ahead of the World Economic Forum, he remarked, “Children Are Allowed to Make Mistakes,” in reference to social media usage.
