The results of the first duel in Melodi Grand Prix 2026 will be revealed this morning, while the second round of voting will open.
The duels for the wildcard in Melodi Grand Prix 2026 are underway, with voting closing for the first duel at 10:00 CET. The two acts who are competing in the first duel are Skrellex with “Into the Wild” and EMMY with “Sykt fin” (Very nice). The results will be announced this morning.
At 10:00 CET, the voting will open for the second duel in which GOTHMINISTER ft. Thomas Jenssen are competing with “The spell” against Vika Anonymous with “Har du itt vørri på toten?” (Do you have a knife on your belt?) You can listen to the duels as part of Nitimen on NRK Radio 1.

CHACHI is the next artist to reveal their song competing in UMK 2026. CHACHI is from the United States and is best known as a dancer, choreographer and singer. She has lived in Finland since 2019 with her husband, who is a stunt performer. Her song “Cherry Cake” and its official music video will be released on YouTube.
