Astronauts: The Quest To Explore Space will be presented at Parr Hall in Warrington on September 24, 2026.

Mr Peake said: “Space has the capacity to inspire and fascinate people of all ages.

“It’s an honour to be able to share these unique experiences, which have forever changed how we look at the universe.”

The former Apache pilot and European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut will share stories from the space age and reflect on humanity’s journey beyond Earth.

Following his show in Warrington three years ago, which explored his personal journey to the International Space Station and his historic 2015 spacewalk, Mr Peake’s latest tour takes a broader look at the achievements and ambitions of the space industry.

He will discuss the early days of space exploration in the 1950s, contemporary missions, and the ongoing efforts to send humans to Mars.

The event will also delve into the challenges and rewards of spaceflight, including what it’s like to live and work in weightlessness, witness the Earth from orbit, and face the unexpected dangers and lighter moments that come with long-duration missions.

As a veteran of the British Army who later joined the ESA, Mr Peake will also shed light on the years of training, and the psychological and physical demands faced by astronauts preparing for space travel.

Born in Chichester, Tim Peake spent 18 years in the British Army, serving as an Apache helicopter pilot before being selected as an astronaut by the ESA in 2009.

He became the first British astronaut to visit the International Space Station to conduct a spacewalk in 2015.

Mr Peake performed a spacewalk during his time on the ISS.
